Ideation
Material Test
3D Print TPU to test the inner support for the pillow.
Also, observe the light effect.
My original plan is to use this kind of supporting TPU structure inside the pillow, it can support the light source inside the pillow, and also can reflect beautiful light pattern.
However, later on, I realized this is very hard to 3d print, which means it will increase the cost dramatically. I have to change my solution.
Design Solution
Memory Foam
Poly glass bead filler
for weighted stuffing
My solution for the stuffing is to use Poly glass bead for inner layer to increase the weight of the pillow;
to use Memory foam as the outer layer of the stuffing to increace the comfort.
